Amiro (Majid Niroumand) is a young boy who has lost his home during the war. He spends his days by working odd jobs, until he realizes that the only way that he can realize his dreams is by enrolling in school. In school, he has conflict with other students.

Not as brutal as some of the other Street-Kid flicks, but a fantastic psychological portrait of a boy trying to survive in a world that doesn't give a damn. Amiro finds grace and solitude in running and in a breathtaking climax races across the desert to reach a melting block of ice before it disappears.
